Aerospace

We work with public and private entities to offer cutting-edge solutions that blend technological advancement, international competitiveness and safety

The growth of the Aerospace sector is irreversible. The increasing use of space applications in ground-based activities and the speed of technological progress have opened up new opportunities in a context characterized by a regulatory framework that is continuously evolving, becoming increasingly jagged and complex. For this reason, private operators and public entities require accurate support from external consultants to assist them in the analysis, implementation and modification of sector-specific contract texts and best practices.

Our professionals have significant experience in Aerospace law, including international contracting and governance issues for sector operators. This encompasses liability profiles, international taxation and those related to public and private financing. The need to provide solutions to particularly complex issues is addressed with a multidisciplinary approach, bringing together the expertise of professionals specialized in different fields to provide a response that aligns with the client’s needs in terms of applicability and business strategy.

For the geopolitical factors that permeate this sector, our in-depth knowledge of the dynamics driving global markets enables us to assist clients in managing trade, customs, import/export relations with EU and non-EU countries, as well as in the application of simplified procedures and special regimes.

  • In collaboration with technical experts in the field, we assist clients in the legal aspects of preparing, developing and executing projects aimed at enabling the use of satellite systems and related applications. We frequently participate in consortia of experts to provide specialized advice to national, European and international institutions.
  • We represent Aerospace manufacturers and operators, as well as satellite service providers and their insurers. We have a proven track record in relation to extraordinary transactions related to the Aerospace sector, both classic M&A and venture capital operations.
  • We advise on all regulatory issues related to state aid, commercial aspects, tax matters, logistics, insurance and/or security and market access issues, as well as any other aspect that may be deemed relevant to the success of the activities.
  • Our assistance extends to judicial and extrajudicial litigation for issues related to civil liability and international trade insurance, for all administrative and regulatory matters, with a particular focus on the corporate sphere – merger, acquisition or sale transactions of companies or businesses – on financing mechanisms for companies operating in the sector and on the procurement of Aerospace and satellite works and services.
