Paolo De Carlo deals with commercial and corporate law. He assists his clients with commercial contracts, extraordinary operations and aspects relating to the valuation and transfer of intellectual property.

Paolo has accrued consolidated experience in the pharmaceutical sector and in biotechnologies for which he supervises Italian and multinational companies in extraordinary operations, assisting with compliance matters and contracting relative to the development, testing, production and release to the market of pharmaceutical products and medical devices and the related regulatory aspects.

Paolo began his professional career in 1994 with the Pedersoli law firm of Milan. In 1998, he joined Simmons & Simmons LLP, becoming a partner in 2006 and head of the Life Sciences sector for Italy.

He joined RP Legal & Tax in 2012.

It is specified that B Lab is not a conformity assessment body as defined by Regulation (EU) no. 765/2008, nor is it a national, European, or international standardization body as per Regulation (UE) no. 1025/2012.

The criteria of the BIA are distinct and independent from the harmonized standards resulting from ISO norms or other standardization bodies, and they are not ratified by national or European public institutions.
