Former partner of leading notary firms and professor of Cultural Heritage Legislation and Cultural Heritage Economics and Management at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, he is considered Italy’s leading expert on foundations, public and private, and non-commercial entities in general, as well as on the relationships between them and commercial entities, as well as between foundations and family estates, particularly in matters of succession planning.
With specific reference to the nonprofit sector, he advises on matters related to public and private legal entities and in cases of ordinary, extraordinary and restructuring operations of nonprofit entities. He is an expert in Trusts, contracting and national and international legislation of cultural property, estate planning and protection of family assets.
A speaker at conferences, seminars and master’s degrees, he is a member of the governing bodies of multiple foundations and the author of books and annotated legislative collections on cultural property legislation, successions, donations and laws of notarial interest.
