Maurizio Monterisi provides legal assistance to companies, including multinationals, and entities operating in the manufacturing, gaming, services, and automotive sectors, as well as to financial intermediaries, public service concessionaires, and trade unions and trade associations.
In the field of Corporate Governance and Compliance, he deals with the assessment and structuring of organisational structures, company control, risk assessment and consultancy on the 231/01 regulation: drafting of organisational models for the prevention of offences, assessment and analysis of risk-crime, structuring of related protocols and control systems, and supervisory activities. It also provides assistance in the preparation of antitrust compliance programmes and the activities of the antitrust compliance officer, assistance in matters of occupational safety, anti-money laundering and anti-corruption plans.
He also assists clients in ESG matters, advising on the integration of ESG factors into corporate and governance structures and assessing ESG impacts and compliance.
He also has experience in negotiating and drafting contracts and in ordinary and extraordinary corporate transactions – mergers, acquisitions, corporate reorganisations – and due diligence.
He holds the position of chairman and member of Supervisory Bodies and lectures on compliance issues and organisation and management models pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 231/2001.
He graduated from the University of Bari and is a member of the Rome Bar Association.
